Spotlight on water data management   

Oman Daily Observer - 11 July, 2012

The Sultanate, represented by the Regional Municipalities and Water Resources Ministry, is taking part in a workshop on the future trends in the national water resources data management and assessing the hydrological monitoring network under way in Vienna.

A number of working papers, including a working paper on the Sultanate's geology and hydrology and the current situation of the country data management, as well as national water data management and assessing the hydrometric monitoring network in the Sultanate, will be presented during the workshop. The workshop also included working papers on the progress of underground water monitoring network in the USA.
