In Kuwaiti political history there is only one MP who jumped from the far left of the opposition to the right for the sake of the government. This MP, unfortunately, sold everything for the sake of a small amount of money. I remind this MP that if history writes that Clint Eastwood was the best personality who performed the role of the cowboy in the history of cinema, so history shall write that this MP is the best who represented contradictions and sold his own history for some dinars.

MP Musallam Al-Barrak—you might not like him but you should respect him, even if you do not agree with him politically. This is not meant to flatter him, but he is a respectable MP, whether you like him or not that is something else. The important thing is that he is straightforward and does not change his principles, regardless of whether the circumstances changed or not.

Some of the MPs of the 2012 council, in spite of their wearing the opposition hat, were unable to convince even an ant with their opposition. I wish such MPs would not return in the upcoming elections because they only claim to be politicians.

I wrote two weeks ago that Minister of Health Dr Ali Al-Obaidi, by transferring Dr Mohammad Al- Mishaan to the ministry deewan, opened the door of Ali Baba’s cave for treatment abroad.

The minister was annoyed. The daily Al Jareeda published on its first page a full report about the truth of Al-Obaidi changing the treatment abroad administration into a place of earning votes for some MPs. Dear respected Minister of Health, when we explain a truth we do not take the side of anyone who is against you, we write the truth as it is. We remind your excellency that treatment abroad for those who deserve it is only for patients who are suffering from diseases and not for those who claim to be sick and are looking for tourism abroad, simply because they know an MP from the majority who can approve their files.

Also, some advice to the airport security director to arrange for a training course for female employees in the passports department to be trained in how to deal with the public. It is not professional when a female passport employee tells her male colleague, while she was stamping the passport of a pretty Lebanese girl, “How about you visit her at her house?” It is very shameful that such talking comes from a respectable employee in front of a passenger, as if she was describing her as being cheap.

Such talking is very shameful. Such an employee who said those words last Friday morning should be held accountable.

She represents the first image of the state for new arrivals. If the front of the state has people who display such manners with arrivals, then how it will be inside the state? Is it this picture you want to show about our country, which we dream will become a financial and commercial center? – Al-Anbaa
