Over 15,000 visit Modhesh in the first three days of DSS

Khaleej Times - 18 June, 2012

Modhesh World, considered one of the largest indoor edutainment theme parks in the Middle East, welcomed more than 15,000 visitors during the first three days of the Dubai Summer Surprises at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

With its 40 zones strategically distributed between Halls 1 and 6 in addition to Za’abeel Hall 3, the new location is just a few steps away from the Dubai Metro Station, has free outdoor parking with a capacity for 2,000 cars and indoor low-priced parking of Dh10 for a full day with a capacity for 1,200 cars.

Modhesh World hosted the opening ceremony on June 14 for this year’s edition of Dubai Summer Surprises. It has been attracting families from different nationalities with its various offerings which include entertainment and musical shows, and new zones such as the Lego Play Area, Panasonic Zone and the Science Planetarium.

Launched in 2000, Modhesh World welcomed half-a-million visitors last year. The expansive family entertainment theme-park hosts exhilarating zones, in addition to exciting international cartoon and stage shows — all of which are housed in a fully air-conditioned, child-safe environment.

Modhesh World will be open to visitors until August 25 and operates throughout the week, from 10am to 10pm on weekdays, 10am to midnight on Thursdays, and 2pm to midnight on Fridays.

Entry to Modhesh World costs Dh10 each for visitors aged three and above.
